How this kind of understanding can be reached through a knowledge of the theology of creation is described in this book. Fr. Mouiren starts at the beginning with the images of our childhood and ways of speaking about and expressing imaginatively the idea of creation. He goes on to show how these basic ideas are clarified and developed by Scripture in both the Old and the New Testament and by the teaching of the Church, particularly as summarized in the definitions of the First Vatican Council.
